Frequently Asked Questions
General Questions
This is a legitimate concern.
Pesticides are chemicals designed to kill insects and if used improperly can pose a risk to one’s health. As a result, it is very important that you hire a company with a technician that understands what is on the product label and applies it in a manner that is in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. By doing so, you can be confident that your pest problem will be resolved in safe manner that poses the least amount of risk to you, your family, pets, and the environment.
We are careful to use only EPA approved products that have been deemed safe for use inside and outside of your home when applied correctly.
This depends on which pest problem you are dealing with. Bed bugs are treated with heat and should be gone the same day, others can take a few days like ants, spiders, beetles, and scorpions, and some can take up to two to three weeks, such as in the case of cockroaches, fleas, mice, and rats.
If your pest problem has not improved in a week’s time, call us so that we can take care of it. We provide a 30 day warranty to ensure that you are satisfied with your treatment and results.
It depends. If you want to stay on top of the situation and want to keep pests at a minimum throughout the year then quarterly sprays are a good option.
However, if you are looking to save money, some customers are satisfied with a treatment whenever they can afford it. Others may not have pests come back into their home for an extended period and will wait until they see a problem.
We do not do binding contracts or pressured sales so we let you decide what fits within your budget and pest exposure tolerance levels.

Bed Bug Questions
Bites are the most common way people find out they have bed bugs, but just having bites or even just seeing one bug does not mean you have a serious infestation. We offer free inspections, but if you just can’t wait, you can look along the folds of the mattress, under the box springs along the outer edge, especially near the top part where your head is located, on curtains by the bed near the top, along the baseboards at the head of the bed, the back of the headboard, under wooden slats, where the ceiling meets the wall above the bed, arm rest of cushions where it meets the back, under the foot rest, and creases of couch cushions.
Evidence of bed bugs includes the actual bug, which can be anywhere from 3/16 to ¼ of an inch long. The nymphs can be translucent to a whitish yellow color, while adults can be red or reddish brown. They are oval shaped and vary in thickness depending on when they last fed. Their eggs look like very small tiny pieces of rice that stick to the fabric they're on and are typically found where the female nests. Since they shed, you may also find an exoskeleton as they shed as they grow into adulthood. Also, you may find small black fecal spots that smear when touched.
No - at least not yet!
Bed bugs can be completely eliminated without you costing yourself extra money in the process. While it may be a good excuse to get rid of an old couch or mattress, it may not be in your budget to do so until you know what it is going to cost for a heat treatment.
Call us today for a free inspection so that can save you any unnecessary effort or expense in the process.
This does happen on rare occasions, but it is not a major concern. Bugs can spread to various locations and one may find their way to where you sit or sleep from an area that either was not in the treatment area or shielded from the heat.
Be sure to call us within the 60 day warranty and we will gladly return, at no charge, to reinspect and retreat the problem areas to ensure you are 100% bed bug free.
Yes, you can certainly try.
However, many people want the problem resolved immediately without the worry that hidden and untreated eggs or bugs might continue to feed off them at night for days or weeks on end.
The other challenge with treating yourself is the use of strong smelling remedies that can make treatment even more difficult by scattering the bugs away from their local nesting areas. Not only does this make it harder to eliminate the bugs, but can also make it difficult for pest control companies to provide a fast and easy resolution to the problem.
Call us and we will help you try to find the best approach that will save you the most time and money!
